Ministries
One church cannot be all things for all people, that's true. But God has called Hillside to be an intergenerational church with ministries directed at people from young to old, with the hope of a lot of cross-pollination in-between. Tour the various ministries currently active at Hillside here.
Worship, Arts & Prayer Jeff Reed
Have you ever considered being more involved in the worship services at church? The choir is always ready to welcome you into their midst. If you love to sing (and can carry a tune), you are invited to join them on Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30. Maybe there is someone who needs your encouragement to participate. Now is the time! Open to all ages from high school on up. We look forward to seeing you
Student Ministries Brian Gleason
For years, Hillside Covenant Church has provided Student Ministry programming that encourages and enables students to grow closer to the person of Jesus Christ and closer to others that call themselves his followers. It is our hope that the activities you find on this website might move YOU closer in your understanding and ultimately your relationship with Jesus. Feel free to look around to learn about our staff, activities, programs, and more!
Community Life and Communications Laura Roy
A group of unicorns is called a blessing. Twelve or more cows are known as a "flink." A group of frogs is an army. A group of rhinos is called a crash. A group of kangaroos is called a mob. A group of whales is called a pod. A group of ravens is called a murder. A group of officers is called a mess. A group of larks is called exaltation. A group of owls is called a parliament. A group of Christians loving each other and living life together is called community. Community Life is the umbrella group that promotes and encourages Christ like fellowship, goodwill and interaction here at Hillside Covenant Church.

Pulse Brian Gleason
Pulse worship gatherings exist to revive our wonder of Jesus within our fast-paced and often distracting culture. It is a community of passionate worshipers desiring to become people known for their dedication to Jesus. This gathering is designed to speak the language of a younger generation (and young-at-heart!) through many forms of worship. More than just a different musical worship style, Pulse is marked by the desire to stop just attending church and instead “be the church.”
Spiritual Formation Jenny Trees
For Example: Monvee is an innovative web-based spiritual development tool that connects a desire to grow with an individual growth plan. By discovering who you are with how you will grow, Monvee has the potential to impact spiritual formation in three major ways.

Business & Administration David Doering
The Business & Administration Ministry covers a broad range of business activities, which can generally be categorized in one of three areas: Finance, Personnel or Facilities. Financial Management covers every aspect of overseeing and maintaining the financial health of the church; be it bill paying, budgeting, giving, insurance or anything in between. Personnel covers management of our administrative team and employee benefits. Facilities covers scheduling, set-up, repair and maintenance of the buildings, systems and grounds.
