To cooperate with God as He brings His Kingdom to our corner of the earth, just as it is in heaven... helping children and families to feel welcome, learning to hear, accept and develop a personal relationship with Christ.

Are you a family with a special needs child?

We would love to provide the best possible environment for your child.  We also want to help you as well!  We have several different support services available to you and your family; ISP - Individualized Spiritual Plan, one-on-one buddies, respite days, monthly resource/support group (with childcare).  Read our  Icon special needs support services (1007.1 KB) for more information.  Please contact Sarah Ago with any questions.

Vacation Bible School (VBS):

July 30-August 3

9:00am-12:00pm

Hitch up your wagons and saddle up your horses because we're headed to Dodge City!  Meet real life outlaws and heroes of the Old West and the Bible.  Get to know the Good, the Bad and the Faithful!

As your kids mosey through the Old West, they'll also study the themes of Trust, Mercy and Forgiveness.  They'll come face to face with Jesus in a new and exciting way.

So strap on your boots, because it's going to be a wild ride at Dodge City VBS!

$30 per child if registered by July 15

Registration is not complete until all forms and payment is received.

Preschool Cooperative Rotation:

We ask all preschool parents to serve on a cooperative preschool rotation once a month.   We also welcome others from high school age to grandparents...call us to sign up today!

Sunday Morning Staff:

We encourage team teaching and ask staff to serve for 9 months from September to June.

Volunteer Application Process:

At Hillside, we treasure and value highly the young people that God has placed in our care. To continue to ensure that our church is a safe place for them to grow emotionally, physically and spiritually, everyone who serves in a ministry of Hillside involving youth under the age of 18 must complete an application form and a background check.

Groups Within Children and Families

Kid's Connection (Sunday School)

The children’s ministry of Hillside exists to participate with the coming of God’s Kingdom and to embrace the prominent place children have within it.  We seek to do this by partnering with parents in the development of the spiritual formation of children and providing them with experiences of worship and study.  Areas of ministry include Sunday morning classes, worship experiences, Club 56, Vacation Bible School, retreat programming, camping ministry, and holiday programs.

Family Ministries

Family Fellowship is a ministry of Hillside Covenant dedicated to providing families with young children a fun, relaxed, and comfortable environment to socialize. Our events are scheduled for the evening of the first Friday of the month. Occasionally we will also offer events beyond our monthly gatherings. Our goal is to offer events that are kid and parent friendly. Babysitting is offered at most events to allow parents to socialize without interruption while other events are intended to be for the entire family.
