A group of unicorns is called a blessing. Twelve or more cows are known as a "flink." A group of frogs is an army. A group of rhinos is called a crash. A group of kangaroos is called a mob. A group of whales is called a pod. A group of ravens is called a murder. A group of officers is called a mess. A group of larks is called exaltation. A group of owls is called a parliament.
A group of Christians loving each other and living life together is called community.
Community Life is the umbrella group that promotes and encourages Christ like fellowship, goodwill and interaction here at Hillside Covenant Church.

Women's Ministries
Embracing Hillside’s core values, Women’s Ministries strives to provide opportunities for women to be educated in the WORD, come together in community, welcoming to friends and newcomers, reaching out to serve the world around us, submitting ourselves to the Spirit in all we do.
MOPS
If you are a mother of a preschooler, make time in your fall schedule to join our MOPS program. MOPS is a program designed for pregnant mothers and moms of children (birth through age 5) where we can learn, support, and affirm one another in a nurturing, Christian environment.
The Well Women's Study
Gather with other women to be refreshed and nourished at “The Well”, our Tuesday night women’s bible study. All are welcome! Meetings are from 7-9PM in the Multi-Use Room. RSVP at the information counter or Contact Jane Rutledge
Spice of Life Women's Bible Study
Spice of Life is a place to find friendship, a place to be real, and a place to meet Jesus and grow in His love. Meeting at the church on Tuesday mornings between mid-September and the end of May, Spice is open to all women. Loving childcare is provided, and coffee and refreshments are served
Men's Ministries
To promote among the men of Hillside Covenant Church the opportunity for active fellowship, for service to Hillside and our community, and to deepen our collective and individual relationship with Christ.
College
College students are invited to attend the Pulse Worship Service at 9:30 am. We also meet periodicly for fun and meals. Contact Laura Roy
PrimeTime Seniors
Hillside is dedicated to providing fellowship, resources and connections for seniors. In addition to frequent daytime programs at the church, we sponsor a variety of trips and other special activities for seniors throughout the year Contact Terri Brohard.
Hillside Life Membership Class
This lively, interactive 4-hour course is for anyone interested in learning more about Hillside – our roots and history as a church, what we believe, what we value, where we're headed and how you can plug in. We'll also introduce you to church membership, and why you may want to consider joining the church. Completion of the course is required for membership at Hillside. Offered several times each year in several different formats, Hillside Life is a great opportunity to meet and interact with members of our staff and other church leaders, and to meet both newcomers and long-time Hillsiders.
Singles Ministries
Hillside supports a local ministry called "925 Singles". They are a self supporting, non denominational faith-based group and have activities all month long here in Solano, Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.They encourage you to regularly attend your church & Bible study and to come out and make some new Christian friends. A nominal charge will be requested to assist the host with the expenses incurred.
