Sunday Morning Adult Classes with the purpose of consistent community and relevant learning:

Name: Intergenerational Adult Class

Target Audience: Everyone!

Time: Sundays at 9:30 a.m.

Room: Bergesen Hall

Focus: "Developing Our Friendship With Jesus"

Basic text: John 15:12-17 plus supporting material from John 14 and 17

We will investigate the meaning of our friendship with Jesus in terms of His choice of us, His love for us, and look at the issues of acceptance, enjoyment and partnership as aspects of our friendship with Him. We will also consider themes in our text such as obedience, love for our Christian brothers and sisters, prayer and fruit-bearing as aspects of our friendship relationsihp with Jesus. Besides considering a number of Scripture passages, we will meditate on many quotes from spiritual writers that highlight and illustrate the biblical teachings.

Each class member will be given a complete manuscript of the course.
