Today we arrive in beautiful Anchorage! Each member of the trip took their own path to get to Anchorage, Erik and I arrived on Wednesday and spent some time with family, Bob and Liz Reed arrived on Thursday and enjoyed the sights, Jason and Susan Lauren flew in today after boarding a very early 6am in flight and being delayed on the tarmac, they arrive safely. Lastly, Audrey King and Jim Dick were the last ones to arrive around 6pm. We loaded up the college van, grabbed some Subway sandwiches and drove the 3 hours to Suldatna. Along the drive we saw majestic snow covered mountains, beautiful rock formations and a few bald eagles.

On arrival we were greeted by Sean, one of the college leaders, he gave us a quick tour of the new building additions including a rec room for the students that includes a pool table, foseball table and big screen TV. The college also built some beautiful free standing cottages that can sleep up to six people and include a living room and kitchenette. They plan to rent the facilities out during the summer as an air bnb and have students staying in them during the school year. After a long day we all said good night and headed to bed with excitement and anticipation for what tomorrow will bring!
