Hillside's Family Ministries seeks to partner with our families to nurture, support, teach and encourage them in their relationships with Christ and each other. We believe the home is a primary discipling center and as we empower our families to grow and become all that God created them to be (individually and corporately) the entire body of Christ will be transformed. Our events intentionally draw families together and give opportunity for relationships to happen intergenerationally within our Hillside family.
Family Camping Trip
June 20th – 24th - Save the dates for our summer camping trip (all ages are invited)! More details to come, but you don’t want to miss this intergenerational opportunity to be outdoors and enjoy all that God has created for us!
Hillside desires to encourage & support our couples, so that our marriages thrive. We offer occasional classes & special events to help equip our couples in their relationships.
For more information please contact Marybeth@hillsidecovenant.org.
There are two ongoing resources we would love to provide for our Hillside couples:
- Marriage Mentoring -
We have trained marriage mentors available for our couples who would like someone to walk alongside them and offer one on one encouragement. Please contact Jane.DeYoung@hillsidecovenant.org.
- Marriage coaching and pre-marital counseling is available through the pastoral staff. If you are getting married or in need of developing a deeper skill set, we can schedule sessions with you to focus on communication, conflict resolution and reflective listening. Please contact Sarah@Hillsidecovenant.org for more information.
Adoptive/Foster Family Support – Have you ever considered adoption or foster care? Are you currently a family who has welcomed children into your home through adoption or foster parenting? We have started a new support group for families who are in the midst of the joy & challenges of adopting & fostering children. Our evening meetings include dinner, a speaker and rich conservation around the table with other families. Suggested donation for dinner is $5 and childcare is available by request only.
Mothers of Preschoolers meet every 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month 9:15 – 11:15. MOPS are moms (of children nursery to kindergarten) who meet together regularly to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of motherhood together. We offer childcare while our moms are nurtured by speakers, food and time to be more honest with each other. We desire for our moms to feel more equipped and find our identity in Christ while journeying along side one another.
