Day 4 - 2026

Crafts with the kids

We started Thursday by committing our day to the LORD and we arrived at the Compassion project around 9.30am and jumped right into crafts with kids aged 3-5. The kids were divided into two classes of 13 and 21 respectively. The craft today was making turtles out of paper plates, paper cut-outs and glue. We had lots of colorful turtles made by the kids with their names written on their paper turtles to be kept as their personal artwork.

Josh and Sharon also spent some time with much younger kids (Ages1-2) getting them engaged by juggling light balls. We wrapped up our day at the project gathered around Altagracia (Director of the Compassion Project) sharing the testimony of how the cafeteria building was purchased by the grace of God and the support of Hillside Covenant Church.
